The Butterfly Peace Garden is located on two acres of green land with trees, birdsong, and ecologically constructed activity centres. It has been operating for 25 years, growing into:

25 years of children's programs have reached 1.5 million children, offering trauma healing, reconciliation, and ethnic harmony.
50 animators and accompaniers trained by local, national, and international experts in art, earth, and heart work.
55 printed publications produced; extensive networking achieved nationally and internationally.
Outreach to vulnerable groups: ex-combatants, prison inmates, physically disabled children, and severely traumatized children.
Friendship extended to the Sinhalese community, building bridges of understanding.
A new 2.5-acre site has been acquired, and a new garden is being developed to expand our capacity to serve more children and communities.
This expansion will allow us to create additional healing spaces, educational facilities, and community resources to further our mission of peace and reconciliation.
